FORD
THURSTON
Creative Director, B.A.
With a life long interest
in design, Ford studied visual art at George Brown College and
subsequently completed a degree in Sociology at the University of Guelph.
During school years he founded a clothing line under the brand Antiks and
achieved distribution through retail stores across Canada. A venture that
cemented his interest in design as well as in pursuing life as an
entrepreneur.
Subsequent to graduation Ford worked for a Toronto real estate team for 2
years as a sales and marketing assistant. From this experience, he decided
to start a company that would provide the real estate industry with
marketing support materials. In January of 2007 he founded Thurston Design
Studios.
The response to this venture was exceptional and over the past year and a
half the expansion of the business has been excellent. Ford is committed
to managing the business growth carefully, growing the infrastructure on a
timely basis so that service and quality are never compromised.
ALICIA
THURSTON
Photographer
Alicia studied photography
at Sheridan College as well as Savannah College of Art and Design. Her
natural creative ability combined with her success in the classroom
sparked her interest in a career behind the lens.
For several years, while attending school, Alicia worked for real estate
teams in both Toronto and Savannah as a sales assistant and receptionist.
This industry knowledge and a return to Toronto in 2007 just as Thurston
Design Studios was experiencing a spurt of significant growth, presented a
great opportunity for Alicia and the company.
In June 2007 she came on board! Alicia is equally committed to ensuring
excellence in service and quality to all of our clients.
